We’ve put together some fun opportunities to keep dancers moving, learning, and enjoying summer with us. Whether your dancer wants to try something new, sharpen skills, or simply stay active, these mini sessions are the perfect fit!

Turns & Leaps - 4th-7th Grade
This class focuses on developing the basic skills to perform a variety of turns and leaps. Dancers will improve flexibility, balance, coordination, and overall technique in a fun and encouraging environment. This class is perfect for dancers looking to strengthen their skills, gain confidence, and continue progressing in the off-season.
Taught by Morgan, a former CSD dancer and current member of the St. Kate’s Dance Team - 2026 DX Americup Champions, placed top 10 for the 2024-25 & 2025-26 seasons!
A minimum of 8 dancers is required. Registration deadline June 7!

Beginner Ballerinas
This class is the perfect introduction to ballet for young dancers! This class focuses on learning the basics of ballet technique, proper body placement, and foundational movements in a fun and encouraging environment. Dancers will also be introduced to basic ballet terminology while building coordination, flexibility, balance, and confidence. Whether your child is brand new to dance or continuing their ballet journey, Beginner Ballerinas is a great place to grow and learn the art of ballet!

Mini Pom Performance
Join CSD for a high-energy pom dance class made just for grades K–3! Dancers will learn fun moves, basic dance techniques, exciting combos, and teamwork skills while dancing with pompoms. This upbeat class builds confidence, coordination, rhythm, and creativity in a positive and encouraging environment. Perfect for kids who love to move, perform, and have FUN! No experience needed — just bring your smiles and energy!

Intro to csd
This fun and energetic mini summer session for grades 4–6 is designed to strengthen the fundamentals of dance while exploring exciting new styles and skills! Dancers will build confidence, coordination, flexibility, and technique as they advance their ballet and jazz foundations in a positive and encouraging environment. Perfect for dancers looking to grow their skills, try new movement styles, and stay active and inspired all summer long!
A minimum of 8 dancers is required. Registration deadline June 7!

Baby Boogie
Baby Boogie, for children ages 2-4, introduces your child to an organized activity with the comfort of having mom or dad participating too. We work on big motor skills such as hopping, jumping and galloping. We dance with our adult partner and learn basic tumbling skills all in preparation for independent learning experiences. A responsible adult is required to attend all sessions with your child.
A minimum of 8 dancers is required. Registration deadline July 5!
